Revontuli Resort’s lakeside Sauna Trail is certified by Sauna from Finland -society. On the Sauna Trail, you may enjoy the soft heat of traditional Smoke Sauna, the moisture of steamy Sauna Tent and a little feisty heat of electric Loitsu Sauna. In between saunas, enjoy the bubbles of the outdoor hot tub or have a dip in a fresh lake.

Open Sauna Nights
Welcome to enjoy Finnish Sauna to Revontuli Resort. Our Open Sauna Nights are a good way to try Finnish Sauna in Central Finland in the Finnish Lakeland. During the Open Sauna Nights the Smoke Sauna and an outdoor hot tub will warm up for everyone’s use. Additionally, you can have a dip in a fresh lake water – year-round! In winter there are ice-swimming holes made on the ice.

Panorama Barrel Sauna
The Panorama Barrel Sauna is a spectacular new addition to the Revontuli Sauna World. Its large panoramic window offers an unobstructed view over Lake Iso-Virmasjärvi, allowing you to enjoy the tranquil lake scenery and magical sunsets right from the sauna benches. This atmospheric sauna blends the traditional Finnish wood-burning sauna experience with a modern touch, making it the perfect place to relax in the heart of nature.
Smoke Sauna
Smoke Sauna is a traditional Finnish Sauna type without a chimney. When the sauna stove is heated, the smoke spreads inside the sauna, making the seats and walls sooty black and leaving a nice smoky smell in the sauna room. The smoke is let out through a vent before the sauna goers enter the sauna.
Loitsusauna
The word Loitsu means a “spell” in Finnish. Throughout the history, Finns have believed in the healing power of sauna. In the old days, sauna was a holy place and löyly, the sauna steam, was the Spirit of Sauna. Löyly deserved many spells – it was greeted, praised and asked to heal in different spells. Book Loitsu Sauna and experience its feisty löyly around!
Igloo Sauna
The glass-walled Igloo Sauna offers an unforgettable experience on the shores of the beautiful Lake Iso-Virmas. Located right next to the Laguna saunas, this atmospheric wood-burning sauna features glass walls that allow you to enjoy unobstructed lake views directly from the benches all year round. The Igloo Sauna can be booked separately or as an add-on to the Laguna sauna.
Laguna Beach
Welcome to Laguna Beach! At the Laguna area, you will find two separate electric saunas—one for men and one for women—each equipped with its own dressing and shower facilities. A shared outdoor jacuzzi awaits on the common terrace, offering stunning views over Lake Iso-Virmas. In addition, the glass-walled Igloo Sauna provides an unforgettable experience, allowing you to admire the beautiful lake scenery directly from the sauna benches.
